PRAYER IS THE KEY THAT UNLOCKS ALL DOORS. Prayer is simply talking to GOD like you would talk to another individual here on the earth. Talking to GOD with respect, honor, humbleness, and asking GOD to forgive us for our sins and asking petitions in His Will are some of the ingredients of prayer.
prayer is glorifying god’s majesty, his almighty power, his glorious presence, his anointing, and his blessing. prayer is praising god for who he is, his sacrifice in giving us his son, jesus christ, to die on the cross so that we might have everlasting life. lifting holy hands unto the lord, praising him in song, shouting in glory, or just whispering his holy name is another way to pray.
god answers our prayer. whether the answer is yes, no, or wait, our prayers are always answered by god. he is faithful and just; he cannot lie, neither will he leave us or forsake us.
we pray through the name of jesus christ. jesus is the bridge of communication from man to god. we can now go boldly before the throne of god and ask god to help us, forgive us, heal us, take care of us and protect us and our loved ones. jesus is ever interceeding on behalf of god’s children to the father. thank god we have an advocate in jesus christ. when we pray, we can know that our prayers will always be answered. god may not answer our prayers the way we want him to, but he will always answer our prayers according to his will for our lives.
prayer is the key that unlocks all doors. without prayer, we have no communication with our creator. without prayer, we have no way to become close to god and know his presence in our lives. without prayer, we cannot know what is god’s will for our lives. the word of god, the bible, is god’s breathed inspiration to show us how to live godly lives, holy lives, and set apart lives unto jesus. without prayer, we cannot live holy, sanctified lives meet for the father’s use, vessels of righteousness unto the kingdom of god.
jesus gave us an example of how to pray when he gave the disciples “the lord’s prayer.” he showed us what it was like to persevere in prayer when he was in the garden of gethsemane. he showed us how to pray until we get a breakthrough, until god answers our prayers. prayer is essential for a daily walk with god, to worship and adore him for his goodness, his love, his awesome creation, and who he is, jehovah, “the great i am.”
the great “i am” created us for fellowship, companionship, and to worship him. he is waiting for us to pray, on bended knee, or laying prostrate on the floor, standing, or in the bed, god wants to spend time with us. jesus wants us to know him personally, to abide in him and he in us, and to know our heavenly father. prayer takes us into the presence of god almighty, our redeemer, our lord and savior, our king of kings, our lord of lords, our everlasting father.
